Polynucleotides
Polynucleotides are one of the newer, more advanced treatments in aesthetics, and they work a bit differently from fillers or boosters. Rather than adding volume or hydration, they use DNA-derived fragments (originally sourced from purified salmon or trout DNA) to signal your skin’s own cells to repair and regenerate. In simple terms: they help “switch on” your skin’s natural healing and renewal process.
What they help with:
- Improving overall skin quality, tone, and elasticity
- Boosting natural collagen production
- Reducing fine lines and improving skin firmness
- Repairing sun damage and general skin ageing
- Brightening and strengthening the delicate under-eye area, where skin is thinnest and shows tiredness first
Treatment options:
- Mastelli (Plinest, Plinest Eye, Newest, Plinest Hair) – a well-established range with specific formulas for the face, eyes, and even scalp/hair health
- LUMI-PN Eyes – targeted treatment for under-eye hollows, dark circles, and fine lines
- LUMI-PN Face – overall facial skin rejuvenation
Because polynucleotides work by stimulating your body’s own repair process, results build gradually rather than appearing instantly. That’s why a course of 3 sessions is usually recommended, spaced a few weeks apart, for the best and longest-lasting improvement in skin quality.

Sculptra – the treatment that rebuilds
There’s been a noticeable shift in aesthetics over the last few years. We’re moving away from the idea of simply adding volume and instead focusing much more on skin quality, structure, and how the face ages over time.
